Mentoring
The IBDP is a rigorous journey and, for many students, this can put considerable strain on their confidence. Hanna enjoys working alongside her students to alleviate the pressures of assessments and examinations.
She works with students to foster confidence and build their understanding of themselves as learners. She believes that growth mindset is integral to success and encourages students to be open-minded, reflective and critical thinkers. As Samuel Beckett once wrote, “Fail again, fail better”.

Assessment Feedback
In addition to 1-1 sessions, Hanna also offers advice and targeted feedback for internals assessments (IAs) and the Extended Essay (EE). She works with students to help identify manageable ways in which their work can be improved to ensure it meets assessment requirements.
With many students going to university upon completion of their IB Diploma, it is imperative they are able to address feedback with confidence and perseverance by learning how to respond to advice from teachers, in addition to the value of viewing one’s work through a critical, yet unjudgmental lens.
